With love, from Sarah

Hello, I'm Sarah Ellis, your Ireland-based wedding photographer. I aim to bring a considered, editorial approach to my wedding imagery, focusing on feeling and connection.

With 10 years of experience in the wedding industry, working in destinations across the globe - from California, Switzerland, Iceland, and Spain to the U.K. and much of Ireland; I feel truly grateful to every couple who has booked with me and allowed me to expand my love of being a wedding photographer.

As I move into 2028, I'm choosing to prioritise a film-first approach.

I will also be taking on a maximum of 25 weddings across Ireland and beyond.

Shooting on film at weddings has made me a braver, more intentional photographer.

I feel like the best version of myself when I'm working with film.

I feel more creative.

I trust my instincts more.

I've also found that guests interact differently too, they're curious, they relax, and they often feel more comfortable asking for photographs, which is always a win.

I truly believe that to give the best experience to my couples, I need to be creating in the way that inspires me most. But the way I approach your wedding will always matter more than the format I shoot on.

I want to arrive at your wedding with open eyes.

To notice what unfolds naturally.

To understand the people who matter most.

To react to the event you've spent months creating.

To take in the surroundings, but never lose sight of what the day is really about.

So if you're looking for a photographer who will quietly observe, gently guide when you need it, and document your wedding as it naturally unfolds, I'd love to be there.

Not to recreate someone else's wedding but to tell the story of yours.

I have cultivated a passion for natural, flattering posing that brings out the energy and personality of my couples. For many, "posing" is a word that comes with negative connotations and brings to mind awkward or impersonal images which will always be the case when the photographer simply doesn't understand or know their couple.

It is paramount that I always get to know my couples from day one as it is the difference between having wedding photos of you and having wedding photos that feel like you. I will know before your wedding what photos will be important to you and will work with you to get them exactly how you imagined them.

Throughout your wedding day, any posing will feel more like a comfortable process of intuitively moving through prompts that will bring out the natural joy and beauty of the day.

"The images she captured truly represent who we are as a couple, our love for each other and our loved ones. We truly cannot stop looking at them!"
